2. Matching: Instead of applying for one specific dog, you select Merseyside as your preferred centre. Their experts then review your profile against all dogs currently in their care.
3. The Meet-Up: If a match is found, you’ll be invited to the centre to meet the dog. This may happen several times to ensure a bond is forming.
4. Adoption Fee: The standard adoption fee in 2026 is £300. This covers:
   1. Full vaccination and microchipping.
   2. Neutering (or a voucher for it if the dog is too young).
   3. Health checks and a week's worth of food.
   4. 4 weeks of free Petplan insurance.
